Richter Abend - Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk

A young man who is on a journey in order to obtain the "Ratatosk Core." Having been abused and opressed when he was just a child, he detest others who abuse those who are weaker, and also those who let themselves be abused. He usually answers strangers with his distrusting comments, and he will do any means, no matter how harsh it may make him seem, just to reach his goal.

In his journey, he meets Emil upon saving him from being bullied. Despite hating Emil's cowardice and passiveness, he resolves to help him by teaching him how to fight for himself. There seems to be a hidden intention within his actions, though...

Aqua is also a centurion spirit of Ratatosk, her element being that of water. She also seeks to obtain the Ratatosk Core, and forms a contract with Richter, just as Tenebrae has formed a contract with Emil. Aqua aids Richter in battle, and is quite attached to him.
