A young girl who lost her mother when the Kharlan tree went out of control before. She has a strong sense of good and evil and loves to be the dominant one in little skirmishes. She is like an opposite to Emil, who is effeminate. She later finds out however that Emil is only modest with his skills, and can actually be a willful person when he feels like it. For her, Emil is her prince. On her forehead lies the actual "Ratatosk Core," where the dormant spirit of Ratatosk resides. She had Emil become her Knight in order to protect herself and Ratatosk.

Marta wields a "dual spinner" which is strapped to Marta's wrist and can slice through foes like a circular saw.

Tenebrae is a centurion spirit of Ratatosk, his element being that of the forces of darkness. He appears before Emil, and undertakes a contract with him to make him the Knight of Ratatosk.

As a centurion, he used to govern and maintain the order of natural processes in this world. Presently, since he came from a different world, his powers are weak and dormant. His powers return whenever a new contract with a monster attributed to his element is made.

His character is calm, composed and serious. He unexpectedly makes jokes every now and then like a normal human. Tenebrae is faithful to Marta, for she carries the Ratatosk Core with her
